Claudia Rankine is the author of five collections of poetry including the 2014 National Book Award finalist Citizen: An American Lyric. Among her numerous awards and honors, Rankine is the recipient of the Poets & Writers’ Jackson Poetry Prize and a 2016 MacArthur grant. Her Art of Poetry interview appeared in our Winter 2016 issue.
